The ZSB-CS Safety System:

The ZSB-CS is an industrial grade, pressure sensitive, 4-wire safety switch bumper and control reliable safety system. The ZSB-CS is a safety device that is an integral part of the machine safety circuit. It is designed to protect personnel and objects from hazardous machine conditions.

The ZSB-CS has two main components; a 4-wire safety switch bumper and a category 3 control reliable safety relay controller. The safety switch bumper part of the system is a normally open, 4-wire momentary contact pressure switch covered in heavy-duty re-enforced rip-stop vinyl. The control part of the system is a control reliable safety relay with cross monitored outputs. As a system, the two parts work in conjunction with one another to continuously monitor the machine safety system and control power to the dangerous conditions of the machine.
